Visitors to The Gardening Experience found it the perfect place for children ages 5 to 95. Fafard provided a great hands on experience that demystified gardening. Visitors learned the do’s and don’ts of planting and left with precious advice that allowed them to garden successfully in any space.

The garden was inspired by the growing interest in public participation in pollinator conservation. There are many ways to provide habitat for wild bees and with over 350 species in Toronto and the surrounding region, gardeners that employ bee friendly strategies can attract a pollinator party all spring.
Bayview Flowers operates under 340,000 square feet of greenhouses. We grow potted plants and cut flowers on a weekly basis as well as certain specialty holiday plants.

Plywood Pavilion is a sculptural living green space that explores the concepts of garden, informed by its location within an old inner city industrial building. It includes all the elements of a garden — enclosure, secuarity, connectivity, social space and links to the outside.
The Ontario Horticultural Association is a volunteer, charitable organization whose mission is to provide leadership and assist in the promotion of education and interest in all areas of horticulture and related environmental issues in Ontario, through an expanding network of horticultural societies dedicated to the beautification of their communities.
NANPS is a volunteer-operated registered charitable organization concerned with preserving native plant habitat in wild areas and restoring indigenous flora to developed areas.
Our key purpose is to provide information and inspire an appreciation of native plants with an aim to restoring healthy ecosystems across the continent.

This inviting and colourful “Par-tea” featured a completely edible landscape! Planters were light, easy to move, varied and interesting which included decorative baskets, unique vertical gardens, and fence railing lined with a variety of edible flowers.

Its a party! And ExperTrees invited visitors to get “Naughty in Nature” with this abstract playful landscape design that evoked a natural sensuality and passion. The mischievous and creative design pushed the parameters of creativity and enticed the audience with eye-brow raising and truly unique themes for a garden design.

A Celebration of Mossy Groves and cute country English gardens that invited the celebration of imagination to visitor’s doorstep. Fairies, gnomes and woodland creatures invited to a spring social in the mistly mossy magical party.

This urban garden was intoxicating – full of natural beauty, country charm and wild elixirs that raised visitor’s spirits and fed their soul. Visitors were able to discover how to infuse urban space with plants that increased their well-being and made a positive impact on the planet.
Gardens are always a special place for precious moments…Its a place to celebrate blessings in life, achievements, awards or even just be appreciative of the goodness of life that we have.
This is the inspiration behind this garden…A special place to celebrate precious moments.
Tropical plants offer the homeowner or collector a range of possibilities from accenting interior decor of all styles to adding dramatic and instant effect to a summer exterior landscape with bold statement pieces such as giant ‘elephant ear’ Alocasias or Hawaiian gingers.
Whether hosting a party or enjoying time with your family, true serenity and pleasure can be found in your own backyard.
This year’s Landscape Ontario Garden focused on the vast number of careers available outdoors and in green professions. Primarily, the garden showed opportunities for those who were looking to enter a career in a green profession to “Choose Your Path”.
This space was perfect to host legendary parties, fully equipped with an outdoor kitchen, glass wall infinity pool and ample room for guests to lounge and relax.

Visitors were invited to be transported back to their childhood and enjoy a fantastic romp in the topsy-turvy world of wonders.
Visitors were invited to party on the terrace, Mardi Gras style! There were able to take a stroll in the garden or dance the night away!
We have learned that one of the most effective ways to protect our fresh water resource is to keep the water on site and allow it to percolate into the naturally purifying earth.

In the wonderful, colourful, imaginary world of Alice, a crazy little Tea Party took place. The Mad Hatter’s tea party was the central theme within the wine garden with fun, excitement and musical interludes.

Expand the comforts of your home to your outdoor space where the possibilities are endless.
A gentle meandering pathway led guests through a natural setting surrounded by water. Along the way, they found various gathering areas and artistic focal points situated thorughout the display.
The Stingray Garden was about harmonizing form & function of thematic garden zones and creating unforgettable experiences in a distinctive luxurious outdoor space. Cool soft music and professional lighting caressed the whole entertainment theme.

Nest was a modernist elevated room, a playhouse, an urban retreat, an elegant shed, a studio, a sanctuary reading nook or….
The first entrance garden welcomed people just inside the Hall B entrance to Canada Blooms and started them on their journey up the roadway carpet to the main exhibits in Hall G and the Garden Marketplace.
Thanks to Pioneer Flower Farm for their generous donation of Tulips which can be found at your local grocer.

Gatto Flowers
A garden of the Canada Blooms’ Plant of the Year and Grout the 7 foot Garden Gnome (created by Albert Graves) and the soothing sounds of a water wall welcomed visitors to the main Garden and Floral Showcase of Canada Blooms. On the backside of the waterwall was a green wall that reminded us what we had been missing all winter.
