Helen Battersby isn’t afraid of bees. In fact, she’s a firm “bee-leaver” who likes to let them do their important work in the garden. And she’ll tell you about this and more in the presentation “How to Garden for Pollinators…and help them to help us!” – to create the garden, and the natural world, we all want. Helen is a graduate of Ryerson's Landscape Design program and is in her 15th year as a volunteer with the Toronto Master Gardeners. She has contributed writing and images to Garden Making and Trellis magazines, the UK digital magazine IntoGardens, and US online publication GardenDesign.com. With her sister Sarah, she writes the award-winning TorontoGardens.com blog and publishes the Toronto & Golden Horseshoe Gardener’s Journal and Source Book.
