Floral Fragrance Trends

About Dave Lackie

Dave Lackie is the beauty and fragrance expert on Citytv’s Cityline program with host Tracy Moore. The show is seen by 1.8 million viewers in Canada each week and is in 80 million households in the United States through syndication.

An award-winning journalist, he edits his own digital magazine called Beauty Departure where he shares interviews with the world’s top perfumers, makeup artists and celebrities. Throughout his career, he’s interviewed Celine Dion, Alicia Keys, Halle Berry, Justin Timberlake, Julia Child, Karl Lagerfeld and more.

Over the past seven years, Dave has built up one of the largest Twitter followings in Canada with more than 150,000 fans. He strives to keep them up to date with the latest trends, launches and news. And he regularly gives away his favourite products.

It was his grandmother Betty who encouraged his lifelong love of flowers. She taught him how to grow nasturtiums, zinnias and begonias – all flowers he attempts to grow in his garden when the dozens of squirrels tire of digging them up.
