The TAIPEI Holbrook & Associates garden, designed by Landscape Architect Ronald Holbrook, reflects the primary flora, landscape, and iconic cultural features of the City of Taipei, Taiwan.
This contemporary garden features landmarks of Taipei, such as Tower 101, colourful Asian paper lanterns, living green wall, water feature/hot springs and formations of pink and fuchsia flowers, shrubs, such as the pink rhododendron, the official flower of Taipei, and perennials.

JUNO Awards 2012The "JUNO Rocks" Gardens will return this year to Canada’s largest flower and garden festival. Presented in association with The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) and Canada Blooms, JUNO Award nominated and winning artists Feist, Jann Arden, Keshia Chanté and Royal Wood and Sarah Slean are partnering with professional landscape artists to design and create gardens to reflect their personal styles and tastes.

Thai Vegetable and Fruit Carving

The history of fruit and vegetable carving have originated in Sukothai, Thailand 700 years ago. It started during the Loi Kratong festival in the 14th century by Nang Noppamart who was the King Phra Ruang’s servant. She created a unique decoration for her raft, she carved a flower from a vegetable using a real flower as a pattern. So the King was very impressed by the grace and beauty of the carving and decreed that every women should learn this new art. Thai Carving

No experience or knowledge is required for workshops.

Everything you need to create your beautiful heart shaped bouquet or Thai carving will be included in the workshop fee along with your entrance into Canada Blooms.
