There are multiple benefits to building raised bed gardens, from covering up poor soil, to providing better accessibility to extending the growing season. You can place raised beds almost anywhere, whether you have a big yard, a small space or a balcony (in a smaller version, of course). This talk will address all those benefits and provide some inspiration for building your own raised bed. Not handy? No problem! You can still have a raised bed even if you don’t want to pick up a hammer. You’ll also learn where to put your new raised bed, what soil to use and what to plant—edibles, as well as ornamentals for the pollinators!
