True North, Strong & Free: Native Plants

About Pat de Valence

Pat de Valence has been gardening in the Greater Toronto area for over 25 years, and has been a Master Gardener for 12 years.  She started gardening in 1990 when a business colleague urged her to check out the Toronto Botanical Garden’s course catalogue, and thus began an  escalating addiction.  Pat has gone from small townhouse garden  beginnings, to her current project of building a garden on a ½-acre plot on the Oak Ridges Moraine.  Pat is a member of the Lake Simcoe South Master Gardener group, sharing her experience with local gardeners in York Region.
