Pat’s earliest memories include gardening with her mother. When Pat retired in 2012 she finally had time to garden in earnest, both at home and in the community. She is a volunteer gardener at the Toronto Botanical Garden, and joins neighbours who volunteer to help maintain Alexander Muir Memorial Gardens, a City of Toronto municipal park. Pat is a Master Gardener with the Toronto Master Gardeners. In other volunteer roles she is active at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Center and with the Toronto Camino Pilgrims. She is a keen knitter with a particular interest in botanical patterns.
