Gardening With Children

About Kathleen Lang

Kathleen graduated from Algonquin College’s Horticulture and Landscaping Program in 1993.  She has been a Master Gardener with the Lanark County group since 2003.  In her professional life, she has worked with greenhouse growers, retail garden centres, golf courses and in landscape design & maintenance.  She has been a Canada Blooms presenter many times, and is also an accredited Horticulture and Floral Design Judge.  Her own home garden sits on the banks of the Rideau River, behind a dairy farm, so each time it rains, a lovely manure tea flows through and feeds the garden – she says “Everything looks like it grows on steroids!”.
