Floral ImagaeHave you considered planting California Summer Bulbs??
Did you know that the California growers are the world leaders now when it comes to the propagation of summer bulbs such as Calla lilies, Begonia’s and Eucomus (pineapple lily).  The California growers are able to produce huge bulbs that in turn produce an abundance of flowers. These summer bulbs will not disappoint!!
When planning your summer container or flower beds this coming summer may we suggest you work in a couple of California Calla’s, Begonia’s or Eucomis (Pineappleflower). By just adding a couple of bulbs to your containers and garden beds it adds that extra elementof surprise and texture in your design that sets you apart from the rest.
It literally takes seconds to plant a couple of summer bulbs directly into your patio containers or in and amongst your perennials/annual plantings! For the majority of summer bulbs you just have to plantdirectly beneath the surface of the soil, water and wait. It is that easy!!!
You can buy your summer bulbs starting March. Store them until you are ready Tradewinds International to plant your annuals.  The time to plant any summer bulbs is at the same time when plant annuals directly into your garden beds. The key to the success of your summer bulb plantings is warm soil temperature, well drained soils and the right amount of sunlight for good results.
Summer bulbs are Easy Fun and Beautiful!!
-- Carolyn DeVries, Tradewinds International
